1. Organizer

The Canadian Ball Hockey Association by the decision and under the auspicesof the International Street & Ball Hockey Federation (ISBHF).

·       Accreditation June 1  – June 9, 10 AM – 10 PM

·       Women - June 4 - 9, 2013

·       Accreditation June 3  – June 9, 10 AM – 10 PM

   

5. Place

 

·       Location: St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada

·       Three venues to used: Mile One Centre, Jack Byrne Arena, Mount Pearl Glacier

·       Mile One Centre

6.   Participants

Senior Men's Pool

 


Women's Pool

·       16 to 24 teams

·       Participation will be based on a confirmed application form and paid entry fee, as well as the qualification rules set by ISBHF

·       to evidence the age and nationality, all players must have passports

 

·       8 teams

·    Participation will be based on a confirmed application form and paid entry fee, as well as the qualification rules set by ISBHF

·  Participants from 3rd World Women Championship in Bratislava, Slovak Republic have guaranteed place for 4th World Championship (Slovakia, Canada, Czech Republic). The other places will be given to whoever fills in the application forms and pays the entry fee

 

   

7.     Playing system

 

·       round robin, semifinal group, classification group, games for medal place

 

8. Titles and Awards

 

 

 

 

 

 

·       the title “A-Pool World Street & Ball Hockey Champion 2013” and“B-Pool World Street & Ball Hockey Champion 2013” for Senior Men

 

·       the title “World Street & Ball Hockey Champion 2013” for Women

 

·       winner cups and medals for the teams in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place inA and in B pools

·       certificates for all teams

·       Fair-play Award

·       the ISBHF individual awards: Top Goalkeeper, Top Defenseman, Top Forward, Leading Scorer, Leading Scorer + Assistant,  All-Stars Team

 

9. Rules

·       The ISBHF Official Street & Ball Hockey Rules (5+1 line-ups)

·       a maximum of 22 players plus 3 goalkeepers shall be permitted for each team

·    ISBHF approves ball or ice hockey gloves are mandatory. As well as long arm dresses and matching helmets. Shin pads are recommended (must be covered). Only soft knee pads - in the same color of the stocking - may be worn outside.

·       “orange” hard D-Gell balls will be used

·       coaches and national team staff is obliged to sign ISBHF Code of Conduct

 

10. Jerseys andtrousers

 

·       each team should have 2 sets of own matching jerseys with long arms

·       all protective equipment must be covered by the jersey and socks

·       the ISBHF rules will be strictly followed and coaches must sign memorandum about players equipment

 

11. Age division

·       senior men and women over 18

·       younger players are allowed on request of NA and if permitted by ISBHF prior the tournament

 

12. Referees

·       international referees from AUT, CAN, USA, CZE, GER, SVK, SUI etc.

 

13. Accommodationand board

·       Hotel information attached.

·       Teams are required to contact hotels with the contact information provided and provide a credit card to hold rooms required for their individual teams

·       each team has reservation up to 30 persons, more places need to be agreed with the organizer

·       estimated board 15-20,- EUR per day (not covered by ISBHF)

·       officials and executive will be booked in consultation with host committee

 

14. Transportation

·       The Host Committee will provide Busing service.

·       This service will be supplied for free to/from St. John’s International Airport to hotels listed in hotel information. Transportation Confirmation form must be completed and sent to Host Committee by deadline.

·       This service will be supplied for free to/from all 6 hotels listed and 3 venues listed for players, team staff, and referees.

 

15. Insurance,medical care

·       the players are to be insured in home country (medical treatment and costs)

·       free permanent first aid medical care will be available
