Mr. Jozef Duris – Head Coach of the Slovak men´s team, did the following interview about teams preparation for upcoming ISBHF World Championships on June 2-9, 2013 in St. John´s, Newfoundland.

Slovak Street and Ball Hockey men's team about their preparation for ISBHF World Championships in St. John´s:

    1. At what stage of preparation is your team with regards to next year’s the world championships in St. John’s?
Preparation of the Slovak Street Ball Hockey men's team for the World Championships 2013 in St. John's started in the middle of October with 2 days training camp.
    2. How will the preparation continue in the next months?
Preparation of the Slovak Street Ball Hockey men's team for the World Championships 2013 in St. John's will continue with training camp before international tournament in Pilsen in the Czech Republic that will take place on the end of January 2013. In March 2013 Slovak Street and Ball Hockey men's team plans 2 friendly games with Czech Republic on the territory of Slovakia.
    3. Can you already tell the names of some players of your team?
We are only at the beginning of our preparation for World Championships in St. John's 2013 and for this reason it is not possible to say now some names of players, which will play in St. John's in men's category of the World Championships.
    4. What are the expectations you have for St. John's?
Slovak national Street and Ball Hockey men's team gained in each World Championships medals and we don’t want any change of this. We would like to play for medals positions.
    5. Who will become world champion 2013, and why?
It is very difficult question, but between favourites will belong home team from Canada and also current World Champions from World Championships in Bratislava 2011 and do not forget also our Slovak Street and Ball Hockey men's team!
